Since you are going to be car camping, weight should not be an issue here. I have used this tent. It has been the best one I have had. I have owned five. The only issues I have with it is the zipper, which has been mentioned, and the door opening height. It seemed to be a little low in view of having to step on or over the threshold.

Thanks for this happy camper you make a good point about the door opening height. I appreciate comments.

We own the Eureka Copper Canyon and just love it. It’s a palace. More then enough room for the four of us.
